Rosa Ruby Romance

Produces masses of long lasting vibrant red flowers all through the summer.
Ideal for borders and patio containers alike, patio roses tend to stay fairly compact, growing to an eventual height of up to 0.8m.
As with all roses, they prefer a fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil positioned in full sun.
When planting, dig a hole twice as wide as the pot and mix in a generous amount of compost. Ensure that the point where the rose has been grafted on the rootstock remains at soil level.
It is also well worth using something like “Neudorff Mycorrhiza root enlarger”, a mycorrhizal fungus powder, when planting as this will generate strong root growth and help prevent disease.
Once the hole is back-filled, firm down the soil gently, water well and add a top dressing of general purpose fertiliser.
