From McCain’s own range of seed potatoes, this early maincrop produces excellent yields. Long, oval-shaped tubers boast cream coloured flesh and pale, smooth, thin skins. Potato ‘Shepody’ is a flavoursome variety which makes particularly good French fries – and McCain would know a good chip when they see one! This versatile variety also makes a good general purpose spud for boiling, baking and mashing. Potato ‘Shepody’ Also shows reasonable resistance to Common scab and Blackleg.
