Care Guide
Sansevieria ‘Night Shade’ is easy to care for due to its drought tolerance and adaptability. It thrives in medium to bright, indirect light, which enhances its yellow variegation, but also tolerates low light. Avoid direct sun to prevent leaf scorching. The key is to avoid overwatering; let the soil dry completely between waterings. Water sparingly, every 2-4 weeks or less in winter, ensuring the pot has drainage. Use a well-draining soil like a cactus or succulent mix. It prefers average household temperatures (15-29°C / 59-85°F) and is not frost-tolerant. Fertilize lightly with diluted houseplant or succulent fertilizer during the growing season (spring/summer) and not at all in winter. Minimal pruning is needed, only for dead leaves. Wipe leaves to remove dust.
