- Ideal Conditions: It thrives best in full sun or partial shade. Plant it in fertile, moist, but well-drained soil or compost.
- Placement: Because of its neat, mounding habit, it is perfect for patio containers, window boxes, raised beds, or front-of-border displays.
- Maintenance: Deadhead spent flowers through the autumn to prolong the blooming period. Cut the entire plant back down to the ground in late autumn after flowering finishes.
- Vigour: Dig up and divide the root clump every third spring to maintain its flower quality and overall health.
