- The golden lacquer (Erysimum cheiri) is an upright perennial that forms pink flowers with a strong scent from July to August. In a sunny spot with well drained soil, it usually reaches a height of about 1 m and becomes about 60 cm wide. The gold lacquer is well tolerated by frost in protected locations.
