The Spring Magic series of Aquilegia offers delicate, richly colored, long-spurred flowers that are perfect for bringing eye-catching beauty to beds and borders. The blooms arise in bunches on thin, branching wands that rise elegantly above the foliage.
Blooming begins in early spring and can often be extended later into summer if the spent flowers are deadheaded. Like all Columbines, Spring Magic Pink is adaptable to a variety of soil conditions. The light green, somewhat yellowish foliage, which bears three-part, lobed leaves similar to those of maidenhair fern in shape and texture, forms a full, well-rounded plant without gaps that reaches a height and width of 12 to 16 inches.
