As a hybrid cross between Heuchera (Coral Bells) and Tiarella (Foamflower), it inherits the striking, colorful foliage of the former and the deeply lobed, maple-like leaf shapes and vigorous health of the latter.

The standout characteristic of ‘Alabama Sunrise’ is its ever-changing leaf palette, accented year-round by bold maroon or dark red veins:
- Spring: Leaves emerge bright, luminous gold with distinct red veins.
